Solar water heaters have a very bright future in the U.S., but there are still several issues that need to be fixed before their full potential can be reached. They developed before electric bass systems existed so that people could receive warm water in their houses. Now, they can be used because they create no pollution and don't add intensity to the the global climate change issue. Advances have been made to the original piece of technology and now solar water heaters can be used day and night. Warm water can also be obtained when their is no sunlight. Advances have also been made to the efficiency of the systems, new solar technologies have allowed solar water heaters to heat water faster and warmer then they had before. Solar water heaters are not just some idea, but a brilliant idea that has been very successful in certain aspects of Roman and modern life. The only issue with these systems is that they can't be used in cold areas and the initial costs are very expensive. Several people don't think that they can afford these systems, but this is rarely the case. These systems pay fro themselves very quickly and the initial costs are some of the only expenses these systems have. The truth on this matter is that very few people have been noticing the brilliance of these systems. The creation of these systems was brilliant and the possibilities are endless. These systems aren't just a valid option for area in warmer climates but homeowners should begin buying them now.
I believe that solar water heaters will have a practical use in the future but are too expensive right now. The most practical solar water heaters are ones that act as a hybrid system. Some solar water heating systems work with conventional water heaters to help lessen the amount of electricity that is used. These systems seem the most practical to me because we can't expect the sun to account for 100 percent of our water needs. A backup system would be more beneficial because our electricity bills would still decrease but if something were to happen to the solar water heating system a backup heater could be used to continue producing hot water. Solar water heaters definitely have a bright future but their practical uses are very limited since they are affected so much by weather, but these problems can be worked around.
